Dr. Andriansyah recently returned from his assignment as a Fiscal Specialist at the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) in Singapore in September 2023 and now is a policy analyst at the Fiscal Policy Agency (FPA), Indonesia Ministry of Finance (IMOF). Prior to joining AMRO, he was a Deputy Director at the FPA.

Dr. Andriansyah started his career at the IMOF in 1999. He held various positions at the Capital Market Supervisory Agency, the Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency, and the Directorate General of Taxes before joining the FPA in 2016.

Dr. Andriansyah completed his Ph.D. in Economics at Victoria University in Australia. He also holds a Master of Finance from the Australian National University and a Bachelor in Statistics from Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia. His areas of expertise are fiscal and tax policy, financial economics, development economics, statistics, and econometrics.

Dr. Andriansyah has published articles in scholarly journals, such as the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Economic Record, Asia Pacific Tax Bulletin, Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Studies, and International Journal of Managerial Finance. He also acts as a reviewer, among others, for Kajian Ekonomi dan Keuangan, Jurnal Ekonomi dan Pembangunan Indonesia, International Journal Managerial Finance, Journal of Economic Studies, Journal of Financial Economic Policy, International Journal of Finance & Economics, and Indonesian Journal of Statistics and Its Applications.
