Neely Haby is currently a visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Centre for International Security and Cooperation conducting research on the US-India defence relationship. Her permanent role is with the US Department of Defence serving at US Indo-Pacific Command. She received her Masters in International Affairs from the George H.W. Bush School of Government and Public Service. Opinions expressed in this article are her own, and do not reflect the positions or policies of the US Department of Defence.
