Dr Nishank Motwani is Director of Research and Policy at ATR Consulting in Kabul. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit in Kabul from 2019–2021. He has observed Afghanistan’s 2014 and 2019 presidential elections, as well as the 2018 parliamentary elections.
