Veronica Taylor is a socio-legal scholar and Professor in the School of Regulation and Global Governance at the Australian National University and an ANU Public Policy Fellow.

She has served as Dean of the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (2014-2016), and as Director of the Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) at ANU (2010-2014) (now the School of Regulation and Global Governance).  Prior to joining the ANU, she was Director of the Asian Law Center at the University of Washington, Seattle (2001-10). She has been a Visiting Professor at Leiden, Nagoya and Kobe universities and a visiting Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo. She was previously Associate Director of the Asian Law Centre, University of Melbourne.
