Sandra Rigby is Research Editor at the Lowy Institute. She is responsible for editing the Institute’s research papers and managing its editorial processes.

Sandra is a highly experienced editor who has held a number of senior editing and communications roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the Lowy Institute she worked in Communications at the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. She was formerly Associate Publisher, Academic, with Allen and Unwin, where she commissioned texts across a range of disciplines including education, sociology and health. She was based in London for over a decade where she worked for various publishing houses including Constable and Robinson and Duncan Baird Publishing.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon I) in English Literature from the University of Sydney and a Master of Education from the University of Technology, Sydney.
