'All quiet' for the internet generation

Via China Hush, here in two parts is 'See Through', a visually sumptuous short animated feature made by one young Chinese man who quit his job in an ad agency and then barely left the house for three years to make the film.

The anti-war theme is familiar and reminded me of Remarque's 'All Quiet on the Western Front', but there's also humour in the film and endless visual splendour. The playing card conceit is brilliant.
