Aus-PNG Network social evening – Brisbane

Wed, 07 March 2018
South Bank

Join us on Tuesday 6 March in Brisbane for the second quarterly Aus-PNG Network event aimed at bringing as many people from this diverse and talented group together as possible. This will be an informal gathering and an excellent opportunity to make new connections with people with an interest in Papua New Guinea and the Australia–PNG relationship.

Only four kilometres of the Torres Strait separate our two countries, making Papua New Guinea Australia’s nearest neighbour. The aim of the innovative Aus-PNG Network, run by the Lowy Institute with the support of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, is to increase engagement between Australia and PNG. The Network aims to expand people-to-people links between Australia and PNG, invest in relationships, and foster practical partnerships and sharing of knowledge between business, civil society, communities, and academia. Network events include the flagship annual Aus-PNG Emerging Leaders Dialogue.

All are welcome to come along on 6 March to network and learn more about the relationship between Australia and Papua New Guinea.
