Event: Launch of the Australian Government’s economic diplomacy agenda

On 18 August, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Julie Bishop MP and the Minister for Trade and Investment, the Hon. Andrew Robb MP will speak at the Lowy Institute to launch the Australian Government’s economic diplomacy agenda. The agenda is designed to boost trade, investment and tourism, enhance Australia's overseas development efforts, and achieve broader foreign policy goals. It aims to promote both Australia’s prosperity and global prosperity.

Following speeches by the Ministers, a high-level panel of leading Australian voices and practitioners on trade, diplomacy and development will discuss the implications of the Government’s agenda for Australia’s engagement with the world.
