Lowy Lecture Series: Launch of the 2012 Lowy Institute Poll

The Lowy Institute for International Policy will release its 2012 Poll at a launch next Tuesday, June 5. The annual Lowy Poll is the Lowy Institute’s flagship publication, with its results frequently cited by politicians and policy-makers, journalists and academics. The 2012 Poll will be no exception, with insight on Australian attitudes towards a range of foreign policy issues, including: - Foreign investment in Australian farms - Migration, particularly temporary skilled work visas - Chinese investment & China’s role in Australia's avoiding a recession - The US alliance and basing US forces in Australia; and - Changing attitudes towards climate change. The Poll will be launched by Lowy Institute Executive Director, Dr Michael Wesley, and will be followed by an interactive discussion with panelists, including a Q&A.
