The Lowy Institute for International Policy is pleased to announce that on 9 April 2013 it will host the former Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. John Howard OM AC, who will deliver an address on the 10th anniversary of the war in Iraq.

Speaking on the anniversary of the day that Baghdad fell to US forces, Mr Howard will discuss Australia’s involvement in the military campaign to overthrow the regime of Saddam Hussein and what the war has meant for the future of Iraq and the broader Middle East.
