Allan Behm is Director of the International and Security Program at The Australia Institute, Canberra. His book No Enemies No Friends is published by Upswell Publishing on 1 March 2022.
Previously he held senior positions in the Attorney-General’s Department and in the Department of Defence. He was Chief of Staff to Greg Combet from 2009 to 2013, and more recently senior advisor to Senator Penny Wong.
He has a significant publishing record in academic and professional journals, and is a respected commentator in both the electronic and print media.
