Amit Cowshish is a former Financial Advisor (Acquisitions) in the Ministry of Defence. He served in various capacities in the Defence Accounts Department, Ministry of Defence and the Central Vigilance Commission during a career spanning thirty five years with the Indian Defence Accounts Service. He is associated with the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi and writes regularly on issues concerning defence planning, budget, financial management, and procurement policies and procedures. He is presently a Partner with Dua Associates, Advocates and Solicitors.
