Anastasia is currently an advisor at AP4D leading a project on using all tools of statecraft in the information space. Previously she has been the National Security Editor at The Australian Strategic Policy Institute, advisor to the National Security College Futures Hub, an intelligence manager at Defence, as well as the editor-in-chief at The Diplomat magazine. Her research interests include disinformation, climate & security and the geopolitics of technology. She is an associate at ASPI’s Climate & Security Policy Centre and her paper ‘China, climate and conflict in the Indo-Pacific’ was published by ASPI in 2023. Anastasia’s writing and commentary on foreign policy and geopolitics has appeared across international and Australian media.
