Andrew Chubb is a 2017-2018 Postdoctoral Fellow in the Princeton-Harvard China in the World Program. His research examines the complex relationship between Chinese public opinion and PRC foreign policy, focusing on the South and East China Sea issues. A graduate of the University of Western Australia, he initiated a survey project to measure Mainland Chinese citizens' views of maritime disputes, and writes frequently on East Asia's maritime disputes and Chinese public discourse on contentious foreign policy events.
