Daniel Thambar is a former Research Associate at the Lowy Intitute’s Migration and Border Policy Project. He has worked at the Refugee and Immigration Legal Service and Salvos Legal in Brisbane and is a member of the refugee subcommittee of Australian Lawyers for Human Rights. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (with first-class honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
