Emanuel Sarfraz is coordinating editor for The Nation, one of Pakistan’s leading English-language daily newspapers. As coordinating editor, Mr. Sarfraz works with the paper’s publishing sites, its bureaus in Multan, Faisalabad and Peshawar, and with the correspondents stationed in cities across Pakistan.  Prior to assuming his current role, he served as the supervising editor of the paper’s Sunday magazine, as a staff reporter covering special assignments in Pakistan and abroad, and as a newsroom sub-editor. He also briefly worked at the Khaleej Times.   
Mr. Sarfraz has covered the elections in Pakistan and reported on major events including the 2005 Kashmir earthquakes and the 2010 Pakistan floods. His travels have brought him to the UK, Japan, Thailand, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates, and he has participated in training programs, conferences and fellowships organized by the World Students Christian Federation, the Foreign Press Center, and Microsoft.
