Hannah McNicol is a joint doctoral researcher (Cookson Scholar) at the University of Melbourne and the University of Manchester. Hannah’s research sits at the intersection of development studies, contemporary Chinese foreign aid and investment, geopolitics, and the political economy of global governance and development. Hannah is also the Communications and Research Lead at the Australian International Development Network.
