Jo-Hannah Lavey is a humanitarian professional experienced in policy, innovation, and community engagement. She draws on more than 15 years’ experience in management, policy, and operational roles in Australia, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the US. Jo-Hannah has led drafting of Australia’s foremost humanitarian policies, including its previous humanitarian action policy and protection in humanitarian action framework. She has advised the Australian Government’s Mission to the UN on humanitarian issues during its time on the UN Security Council, managed multi-million dollar partnerships, and contributed to global policy development in roles with the United Nations.
