John Quiggin is an Australian economist, a Professor and Laureate Fellow at the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of numerous learned bodies including the Econometric Society, and the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
A prolific author and blogger, Professor Quiggin's most recent book, Economics in Two Lessons: Why Markets Work so Well and Why they can Fail so Badly, was published in 2019 by Princeton University Press.
