Joseph Chinyong Liow is Tan Kah Kee Chair Professor of Comparative and International Politics and Dean at the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he is also Research Advisor, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. He was the inaugural Lee Kuan Yew Chair in Southeast Asian Studies at the Brookings Institution in Washington DC.
