Dr Londari Yamarak is a lecturer in economics at the PNG University of Technology (PNGUnitech) in Papua New Guinea. He is a research consultant to UNFAO and UNFPA working on landscaping young agripreneurs in PNG, and mapping population situation analysis in PNG for the 2023 National Census as a National Economist, respectively. His research interests include migration, mining economics, rural livelihoods and poverty alleviation. Londari teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate economics at PNG Unitech. He holds a PhD in Economics from Charles Sturt University, Australia, a Master’s in Economics from The University of Waikato (NZ), and an undergraduate degree from University of PNG.
