He was previously chief European correspondent of FreightWaves, markets and technical editor for Fairplay and editor of The Naval Architect, having also worked for Containerisation International’s news site, ci-online and International Freighting Weekly. In a 30-year career covering the maritime industry, Nick has built a reputation as a tenacious news journalist renowned for his ability to pursue off-diary stories that get to the heart of the matter. He is the current Seahorse Awards’ Feature Journalist of the Year and Journalist of the Year.
