Dr. Remy Davison was awarded the Jean Monnet Chair in Politics and Economics by EU Commission in 2012. In 2010, he was appointed a UN Global Expert. He is the former Acting Director of Monash University’s European and EU Centre. In 2018, Dr. Davison keynoted the Beijing conference of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), the international organisation established by the governments of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea to negotiate a free trade agreement. He is the author of Foreign Policies of the Great & Emerging Powers (2008), The Political Economy of Single Market Europe (2011) and The New Global Politics of the Asia-Pacific: Conflict and Cooperation in the Asian Century (2018) [with Michael Connors & Jörn Dosch].
