Riccardo Alcaro is a Senior Fellow within the Transatlantic Programme of the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome. He has been the coordinator of the EU 7th Framework Programme–funded Transworld project on transatlantic relations and global governance. Riccardo has been a visiting fellow at the Center on the United States and Europe of the Brookings Institution in Washington, and a contributor to European Policy Analyst, the Economist Intelligence Unit’s quarterly on the EU. He is a fellow of the EU-wide programme European Foreign and Security Policy Studies (EFSPS), jointly organised by the Compagnia di San Paolo, the VolkswagenStiftung, and the Riksbankens Jubilaeumsfond.
