Sally Weston served as a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade officer at the Permanent Mission of Australia to the UN in New York for the period 2008 – 2015. During that time, she acted as Elections Officer for Australia’s successful candidacy for the UN Security Council for the 2013-2014 term and as a legal adviser on Australia’s Security Council delegation. She holds a Master of Arts in Political Science (International Relations with concentration in International Security) from Columbia University, New York. She is currently an independent consultant based in Melbourne.
