Sue Ahearn is a journalist and media consultant specialising in the Pacific and Asia. She is the creator of The Pacific Newsroom, and co-convenor of the industry group The Australia Asia Pacific Media Initiative. She worked for the ABC’s international service for 30 years and is currently studying Pacific Development at the Australian National University.
