Vafa Ghazavi is a political philosopher, and a former diplomat and policy planner at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He previously taught political theory at the University of Oxford, worked as a visiting researcher on ethics at DeepMind, and was a Carr Center Fellow at Harvard University. He is currently Executive Director for Research and Policy at the James Martin Institute in Sydney.
