Wenyuan Wu is an independent researcher with a PhD in International Studies from the University of Miami. She previously served as a Distinguished Research Fellow at the university's Center for Latin American Studies, and her dissertation focused on the corporate social responsibility of Chinese national oil companies in Latin America. In addition to having a book on corporate social responsibility of the oil industry, she has previously been published on the South China Morning Post, China Dialogue, and Oil Price, among other outlets.
