- Fiji is hosting the first Pacific Feminist Forum, with 100 people from ten Pacific nations coming together to discuss and advance gender equality in the region.
- The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign was launched across the Pacific on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Associated activities include workshops in the Solomon Islands and a working group on Family and Sexual Violence set up by the Fiji Council of Churches.
