Iain Payne

Iain Payne is a Senior Project Officer at the Institute for Global Development at the University of New South Wales, where he supports IGD programming across the region. He brings eight years’ experience in public policy and legal development, with a particular focus on South Asia and Nepal’s post-conflict constitutional transition. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and is currently completing a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne. In 2015, he was awarded an Australian Government New Colombo Plan Fellowship to support his research in Nepal, where he is currently based.
