Ian Macintosh

Ian Macintosh had extensive international experience as a broadcast journalist, news executive and media consultant. He began his career began at the ABC, where he undertook various news and current affairs positions and completed six postings as a foreign correspondent in the Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. He also headed the international operations unit of ABC News. He subsequently joined CNN International, filling both editorial and business roles prior to becoming its Hong Kong-based senior vice president for the Asia Pacific. He has travelled widely in the region as a broadcast media consultant.
