Matt Brown

Matt Brown is the ABC’s Middle East Correspondent, based in Beirut. He is also a visiting fellow at the Australian National University’s Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs and holds a BA (Communications) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He won the 2017 Lowy Institute Media Award for a series of stories on the battle against the Islamic State group in Mosul and is a four time Walkley Award winner.
