Olesya Dovgalyuk
Olesya Dovgalyuk is currently a Yenching Scholar at Peking University, pursuing her master’s degree in Chinese Studies with a focus on Law and Society. She received her BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol (UK) and worked as a consultant for Development Solutions Europe Ltd. in Beijing, helping to finalise Sustainability Impact Assessment reports on EU’s potential FTAs with Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines for the European Commission. Currently, Olesya is temporarily based at Keio University in Tokyo and is also producing SCOLAR Podcast under the non-profit youth organization SCO Countries’ Youth Network (SCOLAR). She is interested in the issues at the intersection of politics, law and economics, including international trade and energy transit in the Northern Eurasian region.
