Pishko Shamsi

Pishko Shamsi is a freelance writer and critic. He has previously led a UN legal investigation into ISIS’ crimes against the Yazidi community in Iraq and Syria. He furthermore served as a representative of the Swedish War Crimes Department on war crimes investigations and prosecution at the European level. In 2018 he was part of establishing the European Union’s advisory office in Baghdad, Iraq.
