Scott Winter

Brigadier Scott Winter is Commander of Army’s 3rd Brigade in Townsville. He is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy, the Royal Military College Duntroon, the United Kingdom Command and Staff College and is a Fellow of the Centre for Defence and Strategic Studies. He has served operationally in Afghanistan, Iraq and East Timor, and supported domestic flood relief operations in Katherine (1998) and Townsville (2019). He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2015.
