Shannon Hobbs
Shannon Hobbs is a Researcher at Fair Futures, specialising in the intersection of human rights and the environment. Her research specifically focuses on modern slavery and its connections to climate change, business and human rights, renewable energy, and other environmental issues. She holds a Master's in Climate Change and Environmental Policy from the University of Leeds, and authored From Chains to Chainsaws: Modern Slavery and Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon.
Shannon's recent work involves partnering with universities, government and NGOs on policy development and raising awareness on emerging issues of modern slavery in the transition to net zero.
